Bucharest
Arrival to Bucharest ? Otopeni airport. Meeting with our professional guide; transfer to the hotel. Sightseeing of Bucharest on the way, with the presentation of the most important monuments. We take a short walk in the old part of the city visiting the ruins of the Old Court, the Manuc?s Inn, the Stavropoleos Church. Welcome dinner. Accommodation in a 3 stars hotel.

Friday
Bucharest ? Brasov / 230 kms
Breakfast. Departure to Prahova Valley. Stop for a visit of Sinaia ? the ?Pearl of the Carpathians? ? a resort situated at 125 km from Bucharest. Sinaia happily combines the values of a mountain and winter sports resort with the natural factors that are at the service of the human health and recovery. Visit the Peles Castle, one of the most important museums which combine various architectural styles, notably elements of the German and gothic Renaissance. It represents invaluable collections of art and furniture. Peles Castle was the final resting place for several Romanian monarchs including King Carol I, King Ferdinand and Queen Maria. Lunch. In the afternoon we continue our trip to Bran Castle ? a spectacular, medieval fortress, including a tentative connection with Price Vlad Tepes (Vlad the Impaler). Arrival in Brasov. We take a walk to the restaurant ?Casa Padurarului? for a traditional dinner. Accommodation in a 3 stars hotel.

Saturday
Brasov ? Bucharest / 230 kms
Breakfast. Visit of this picturesque old town with its German gothic and baroque influences. Visit of the Black Church which is the biggest gothic cathedral in Eastern Europe, the Council Square and St. Nicolae Orthodox Church. Departure to Bucharest. We stop for lunch with wine tasting to Valea Calugareasca. Late in the after-noon we arrive in Bucharest and we take some time to visit the Village Museum, an area of more than 17 ha; opened in 1936 it contains peasant households with their complete inventory, from pieces of furniture to household tools and traditional technology installations, illustrating the village universe in all regions of Romania. ?Good by? dinner in a nice restaurant. Accommodation in a 3 stars hotel.

Sunday
Bucharest
Breakfast. Visit the Palace of the Parliament erected between 1984 and 1989; until 1990 was known as the ?House of the People?. It has 6,000 rooms including hundreds of studies and dozens of reception and conference rooms for scientific, political and cultural sessions. After 1989 Revolution it became the headquarters of the Romanian Parliament and since 1994 it has housed the International Conference Centre. Transfer to Otopeni airport.
