Romania? The Country Of Tasteful Wines
Romanian wines are the most pure expression of the Romanian spirit rising between the freezing immensity of the Russian Vodka and the oceans of beer from the German influences in the west. The art of producing wine is taken to the highest levels through love and tradition from harvesting the noble grapes through the winemaking process with its roots in the ancient times. Even though there is little literature as yet that presents Romania as a wine-producing force, economic reports such as those used by the Administrations of North America illustrate the fact that Romania has the sixth best wine-producing area in Europe and the world - and is still the tenth largest producer in the world.
